This opportunity is for the self-starter who thrives in an autonomous work environment using previous experience to achieve agency goals and initiatives. MSA is a full service agency offering property, casualty, surety, health and life products to our clients. We are located between in Southwest Michigan between Kalamazoo and Portage offering easy accessibility to all urban and outlying areas.
In this position you will work with management to identify and develop individual and corporate goals related to MSAs business plan of continued expansion in theinsurance marketplace. You will use your marketing skills to present our portfolio of products and services to existing and potential clients. Your prior insurance experience will allow you to review policies for accuracy, completeness and target competitive advantages. Excellent verbal and written skills will be used in preparing client proposals and presentations. Our inter-office team of qualified insurance professionals will provide service and marketing support allowing you to achieve your goals.
The ideal candidate will have five or more years of insurance experience and a proven track record of business to business sales and retention. Licensing required with preference given toward degrees, certifications, designations and applicants that have successfully owned or developed a book of business in the past.
A complete compensation package includes vesting in book of business, health insurance, life, disability and dental, 401S, CE support and advancement opportunities.
